Turmeric & Cinnamon Latte

Not only does this Turmeric & Cinnamon Latte have an abundance of health benefits such as it is known to be a great inflammatory, lowers the risk of heart disease are just a couple of the many amazing health benefits. It is commonly used in Indian and Chinese medicine and can easily be introduced into your diet. I am sure many of you you have come across all kinds of new recipes with turmeric and if you haven’t tried any, do!

Ingredients

Serves 1

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon plus a little extra for garnish

1 tsp of freshly grated ginger

1/2 a fresh date, seed removed. This is to sweeten the latte. You can use other alternative.

Definitely wear an apron! Turmeric can stain.

Method

Add all ingredients into a pan and heat over the stove on a medium heat until it is just starting to simmer (do not boil).

Blend using a hand blender. This will combine the ingredients and helps create the foam.

Now it’s it’s ready to pour into a nice latte glass, Sprinkle with some cinnamon and enjoy! 😋

Tip: you can also chill this recipe to make delicious iced lattes!
