Wow! A dessert that is healthy! It is incredible how delicious this chocolate mousse is 😍💚 I was also amazed at the creamy light texture. When I made this I asked my brother, who is a bit of a salad dodger to try a pot and he had no clue that it was made with avocado. He though it had a marshmallow flavour. Haha Shhhh! We won’t let him know the secret healthy ingredient.
Avocado Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
Serves 2
2 ripe avocados at room temperature, peeled, halved and stone removed
150g good quality 70{b4b97137fd3820ff95b576e7e35435e217a5d88726ffa53d0e4e81a46746e540} dark chocolate melted
2 tablespoons of coconut milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
Toppings of your choice
method
Place the avocado and coconut milk in the blender and blend until completely smooth. Once the chocolate is slightly chilled, stir through the mixture along with vanilla bean paste.
Place in the fridge to chill for a minimum of 1 hour.
Serve in small bowls or glasses.
I like to serve the delicious treat with a selection of toppings in little bowls including chopped nuts, peanut butter, coconut flakes and berries!!
