Breakfast at AJ1881 is fantastic! I ordered the salmon florentine I’d say slightly on the small side and would have doubled the amount of sauce. I ordered guacamole and hash browns on the side: it would be nice if the dish came with a hash brown and avocado for 59aed.
I requested some hot sauce and was given Tabasco. I would like to see a better option in the future. The eggs were perfectly cooked and they cook them to your liking. I started with a matcha latte that was sweetened to my liking. The star dish was the dessert. It was phenomenal! Possibly one of the best desserts I have had. I did not realise I liked I like lotus biscuits. The balance of flavours was perfect! I loved the salted caramel. The textures combined were delightful.
The staff in the venue were warm and welcoming. On arrival I was offered some refreshing infused water. The venue itself was a great place to have a coffee and do some work. I will definitely be back.
